Office-Walk

45 minutes of lunch break is a time for eating and walking for three of us - myself, my hubby and a dear friend of us Sujit. Our office is located beside a beautiful lake called Rabindra Sarobar Lake where we like to go for walking after a lunch. And we do sometimes take a pics :)

Bihar Crusade 2011

I remembered my first-ever mission trip was in Zawllian (Diphu) when I was 16 years old. I was the youngest among the youth group during that time. It was a two day journey by bus, by train and 6 hours walking. The memories are still so fresh in my mind. I still do remembered all the fun we had on the way eventhough we were badly tired.

Since then, I tried my best to never missed any mission-trip whenever possible. :)

And when we moved to Kolkata, God opened the door for me for another mission-trip to Bihar. I first visited Bihar (Mahnar) with Pastor. Daniel Darlong and Bro.Fela (before our marriage) in the year 2006 or 2007 (I exactly don't remember the year). And my second visit was for the marriage ceremony of Bro.Birendra daughter in Bihar. Bro.Birendra family are the first people who received Jesus Christ and were baptised in Jesus name.

And my third visit to Bihar was for the Bihar Crusade 15-16 Jan 2011 in Hazipur. This time we had a special guest from Bangladesh Bro.James Corbin and us (Zion Youth from Dum Dum UPC) represents as worship Team.

Bro.Corbin preaches mostly about the Power in the name of JESUS. It was very interesting to me. God blessed his preaching and it was amazing to see many people received healing in Jesus name. It was so joyful when we all hug each other and cried and prayed for each other. Eventhough we are all from different place and culture but GOD has brought us all in HIS culture. How great is our God.

The weather was very cold for us below 5 degree. But it was beautiful to see the field covered with mist and fog in early morning. And the best part was that we were all together giving our BEST to God in serving others. 

I am looking forward for my next trip again... (but not sure when?)

Faith for OTHERS

Matthew 9:18 " While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.” 

Last night I prayed and cried, cried unto the Lord. My heart was heavy, very heavy.

I opened the Bible and found this verse;

“My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.” 

God speaks to my heart by the word of a father who have a Strong FAITH in GOD to heal his dead daughter. His daughter had died...she was death. She doesn't have anymore feeling, no desire, no heart beat, nothing...she was death. 

She had no more strength to come to God, no desire, no willingness, no feeling, no LIVE, no soul in her anymore.

But it was the FAITH of the father in Jesus that bring her back to life.

It was the never-giving up attitude of the father that makes GOD to heal her daughter.

It was the LOVE of the father for her dead daughter.

It was the strong BELIEVE of the father on Jesus miraculous work.

It was a HUMBLED HEART of the father that bow down before Jesus for his daughter.

There are many who have taste the bliss of heaven, has been filled with the spirit of God, been baptized and once had a relationship with God. But...Where are they now? They are no longer to be found in the church. They are not even with the youth group.


What am I suppose to do Lord to help them back to you? 

Am I not doing enough for them? 

Am I not praying enough for them lord? 

Is my love for them is too narrow? 

Not only these, there are many more QUESTIONS arises in my mind. 

God reminds me of a father in the above verse, whose FAITH in JESUS for his DEAD daughter bring her back to LIVE. 

I know...now...that I need to have FAITH in GOD for OTHERS.

I know I cannot change them, But I AM SURE that GOD can change them and bring them back to HIMSELF through ME.

I can't resist to kiss those chubby cheeks :-) My nephew Christopher is only 4 months old. He is a quite baby..he hardly cry, but always like to smile. He is a beautiful blessing to our family.

Thankfulness

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" 2 Corinthians 5:17

God is so good. My heart is overwhelm with joy and thankfulness for all that He has done in my life.

How grateful I am to you Lord. I am touched, healed, blessed, restored, anointed, loved by You in so many ways. How thankful I am to you LORD, thankyou Jesus.

The year 2010 has been a blessed year for me. 
God made the most beautiful day of my life on 10th April - the love of my life marry me :) 
He led me stayed with my family together whole year :) 
He blessed me with a new wonderful family (my in-laws).  
He gave us a new member in our family - my nephew. 
He makes me learn a new lesson in Him :) 
He holds me tight through my love one when I was low and teary. 
He opens a door for me to new spiritual-relationship with others. 
He gave us an opportunity to serve our brethren in Christ in Jharkhand.

How grateful I am to you LORD for being my LORD, FRIEND, SAVIOUR, MY HEALER, MY REDEEMER, MY EVEYTHING. 

I believe 2011 is going to the best year again, more best things is yet to come :-)
